Australia: The Comeback Kid? I think that Australia is on the verge of making a great comeback in the wine market. Please come out and welcome SUPER MASTER SOMMELIER and NINJA (not an official position, but she is a “Diploma of Wine & Spirits” recipient and a pretty cool-ish friend. I’m sure she “ninjas'” on the side), Amanda Page as she will go in depth with Australia and what they have to offer these days that you will NEED to have! Here is the lineup:
Thursday from 7:00-9:00
Better Know a Region: Australia, with Special Guest, Amanda Page
We still have a few spots open from what I’m thinking will be an incredible little tasting!
This is an incredible opportunity to taste wines that you may not be familiar with anymore. These wines that are coming in are stellar examples of what you should expect out of great wine, let alone, Australian wine. Helping me through this will be wine expert Amanda Page (or so she tells me). If you have been to special, high-end wine tastings in the area, you have probably met her. Don’t tell her this, but she really is that good. Please come out and try these wines. This is an RSVP tasting, so please call ahead and save a spot. We still have some available so take advantage now! Here is the lineup:

Feature Wines from Puriri Hills. Her wines have been called “The Greatest Wines to have Ever come out of New Zealand,” and we will have her son in the store to talk about them. Come and meet one of our favorite distributors and overall people, Gray Mosby, and hear him talk about these wines and the accomplishments that his mother as well as he (he frequently helps in the winemaking process) have made with these stunningly delicious wines!
April 6th from 7:00-9:00 –RSVP NEEDED
The Cheese and Wine Tasting. What if we were to take the roles of wine and cheese and switch them around? Come to this tasting as we put a huge amount of focus on cheese with a secondary view on wine. Cheesemonger, Katie Carter will come in and lead this tasting as wine serves as a background, yet they will pair up perfectly.
Saturday, April 22nd from 1:00-6:00–NO RSVP NEEDED
First Craft Friday!
